About Us

We are Michael and Amy Schroer, the owners and operators of Schroer Cattle Company. We, with our 2 daughters, live on the original farmstead that Michael’s great-grandpa built in 1910. It has been used as the farming and ranching headquarters for four generations and serves as the official headquarters of Schroer Cattle Company. We are located near the village of Lawrence in South Central Nebraska. In years past, the farm and ranch have been used to raise many different crops and livestock, so the land is no stranger to hard work and dedication. We are proud and honored to have the opportunity to be the fourth generation to live and work on this ground that the family before us worked so hard to preserve. In years past, family and close friends have been enjoying the quality homegrown beef we have raised. We are excited and proud to expand our horizons and share our quality beef near and far.
